The day when flow begins, not spotting
What is your question?
This would only be abnormal if the spotting on the eighth day is bright red. Actually, I have always happened this to me - bleeding for 5 days, not bleeding one day, and then bleeding bright red and a lot for another 2 days. What it meant for me was that I have an inverted (heart shaped) uterus. This causes the disruption in bleeding. At least that's what I was told.
If your spotting one day, then get your period the next day, that would indicate that your are NOT pregnant...
One week and one day from your ovulation day ? Then it can be implantation spotting! That is a good indicator that you have conceived! One week and one day pregnant? Please contact your midwife if you are spotting when pregnant, although it might be harmless it is best to ask a professional about it. All the best to you!
you just have a short cycle.
the first day would be whatever day you find more than just spotting on your pad or liner so in your case bright red that's how mine is too
spotting
Yes
Hi, Its not uncommon for periods to arrive 2-3 days earlier than usual. Yes the first day of your period is as soon as the bleeding starts, whether it be spotting or heavy flow.
any sort of spotting either before or after is considered to be your period.
If your period is one day late and the next day you have light spotting, it could be the beginning of your period. It is quite normal for the first couple of days of your period to be light.
