if the tiles are ceramic, porcelain, or natural stone, a tile cleaner can be purchased in the flooring section of most home improvement stores. after cleaning tile and grout should be re-sealed with proper sealer to prevent staining.

if you would like to get a fob like jacko you would need to use some sort of swarscoff salidifying wax.
If its new VCT probably, and you will need to strip the old wax & rinse good so there is no stripper residue.. it eats your new wax over time.... If it ceramic tiles NO.
Unless they are no-wax tiles, you first clean them thoroughly with ammonia (diluted), then place a coat of floor polish or floor wax on them. After the first coat dries, apply a second coat. With each coat applied, the floor will be shinier.

Odds are its the wax & build up that is yellowing, wax stripper & a good rotating brush to work all the old stuff off &you will be amazed at the color change

If it is really wax the best way is with a commercial wax stripper. Stores like Walmart, Home Depot, or Lowes should sell it. A word of caution, most floors today are "no wax". They can get a build up that can look like old wax. You don't want to use a wax stripper on that type of floor. Armstrong makes a product called "New Beginnings which is a stripper for no wax floors.
Ceramic tiles have a grout "gap" but vinyl tiles shouldn't have a gap.
The easiest way is to get a blow-dryer, heat up the wax until it gets warm, and wipe the wet wax away with a towel of any sort. Paper towels are recommended.
