Although Malcolm X thought that Afro Americans would never be equal to whites he encouraged them to be violent start riots and fight back. Which is the opposite of Martin Luther King who believed in a non violent approach but they both desired the same goal. When Malcolm was young his father died and his mother had a nervous breakdown so he was put into foster care maybe this had led him to be influenced by violence.
