Without the telephone, you could not call your family or friends to wish them warm wishes. You could not call for emergency help if you were injured or saw something illegal going on. You could not ask a business establishment a question in regards to their services. A telephone may not benefit everyone, but it definitely helps our society function more efficiently, safely, and more prosperously. Progress is its impact.
