I think Maniac Magee is a friendly, kind and thoughtful person. He is confused on where to live, and what to do with his life.He seems honest and very caring for others. He couldn't stand being too comfortable after he left his aunt and uncles house. This is because he doesn't want to be hurt again or be stuck in the same situation he was before. Maniac is looking for a home that is just right for him to live.
Also, he is trustworthy, athletic, and brave.
hope this helps..
