~Because the Indians were all similar in socila class, they followed and were obedient to their ruler at the time. Atahualpa wanted to go forward, so his army of more than 80,000 Indians followed him.

~Since the Incan civilization had just undergone a civil war, some people thought he God Viracocha would be sent to the kingdom to avenge the family of Huascar, his brother.

~The Indians were more intelectual while the Spanish were more technological (weapons, horses, etc.)
