6,000 mile service intervals replace at 60,000 miles
9,000 mile service intervals replace at 54,000 miles.
If in doubt replace sooner.
It has a chain. Replace when it breaks, no maintenance interval like a belt.
Actually it uses timing chains
Go to a mechanic :)
belt
they don't have belts , there are two timing chains , one at the front and one at the rear of engine. no need to replace
I'm guessing you mean a Mazda 6 Sport? if so it's 5. :)
The timing belt is not a belt on a Cherokee sport. It's a chain. It's located under a housing on the crank shaft. In order to replace it you will need to remove the alternator, the water pump, the a/c compressor, the radiator and the engine fans. An experienced mechanic can get it done in about 3 to 6 hours.
sport
I was just quoted $700 from a mechanic who does work on the side.
