The first computers used punch cards to operate and get them to do calculations. Then they came out with computers that had keyboards and you used 8" floppy drives where everything you did was either programming or off of programs contained on those disks. Now you have operating systems and can save and run programs off your hard drive. You don't need to know ANY programming to run today's computers.
