No on a cbt you can only ride up to 14.6 bhp to ride a 33bhp bike you must pass you full test .
mate, any motobikes can be restricted to 33bhp if these bikes are over the 33bhp. even a Yamaha R1 can be restricted, this comes at a price. So if you have the money to spent a amazing bike and restrict to 33bhp. Go for it, best of luck from a experinced rider.....
If you pass your full motorcycle test you can ride any bike with 33bhp or less and power to weight ratio no more than 0.16 kw/kg. There is no restriction on engine size whatsoever as long as the bike is restricted to 33bhp & 0.16kw/kg you can ride it. Most manufacturers provide factory or dealer fitted options for restrictions.
There's no solid connection between BHP(brake horse power) and CC(cubic centimeter, the volume of the combustion chamber(s) in the engine). A 2-stroke can output more power for the same volume than a 4-stroke. A high revving engine can output more mower than a low revving engine at the same volume.
i am not joking it is actually the Renault clio, it has 33bhp
In UK, 125cc not exceeding 14.6bhp on provisional or an A1 licence. On a full A licence: A motorcycle, scooter or motorcycle combination not exceeding 33bhp and a power to weight ratio not exceeding 0.16kW/kg. Its more to do with power output than engine cc. But for an unrestricted 500cc+ it is: Two years after a full Class A licence is obtained. (so minimum age 19) if the licence was obtained on a bike of 33bhp and power to weight not exceeding 0.16kW/kg. Otherwise age 21 if DAS, follow the link.
Up to 15bhp if under 21, after that its up to 33bhp before passing your test.
Depends on what country In the United States I belive you can ride any In UK you are restricted to 33bhp till you are 21 hope this was helpfull, Beathalor
With the Category A license you are entitled to ride a motorcycle up to 25kW (33 bhp) and a power to weight ratio not exceeding 0.16kw/kg. There is no restriction on engine size (cc) so you can now ride a bike bigger than a 125cc. There are plenty of bikes around in the 125cc to 400cc range that produce no more than 25kW (33bhp) - ask your local dealer. You can ride a bike with a power output over 25kW but you'll need a restrictor kit on it to restrict the power output to 25kW. Any good motorcycle mechanic will fit a restrictor for you and give you the necessary documentation. Your insurance will cost more though because insurance companies tend to disregard restrictors.
The CC in Volkswagen CC stands for "Comfort Coupe".
