If the ABS light is on in your guage cluster, that indicates there is a problem with the ABS system. In another spot on this website the fellow says to : check your brake fluid level check your fuses check the electrical connection to the ABS pump. If you don't find anything wrong then take it in for service.
I was lucky, my ABS light came on and when I touched the ABS fuse in the power distribution box in the engine compartment, it made a click sound and the ABS light went out. I guess the fuse wasn't installed all the way.
