Separating areas that observe daylight saving time from areas that don't:

  1. PST/PDT (UTC-8/UTC-7)
  2. MST (UTC-7)
  3. MST/MDT (UTC-7/UTC-6)
  4. CST (UTC-6)
  5. CST/CDT (UTC-6/UTC-5)
  6. EST (UTC-5)
  7. EST/EDT (UTC-5/UTC-4)
  8. AST (UTC-4)
  9. AST/ADT (UTC-4/UTC-3)
  10. NST/NDT (UTC-3.5/UTC-2.5)
  1. Yukon and most of British Columbia are on Pacific Standard Time Nov.-Mar. and Pacific Daylight Saving Time Mar.-Nov.
  2. Part of British Columbia stays on Mountain Standard Time all year.
  3. Alberta and the Northwest Territories and parts of Nunavut and British Columbia are on Mountain Standard Time Nov-Mar and Mountain Daylight Saving Time Mar-Nov.
  4. Saskatchewan stays on Central Standard Time all year.
  5. Manitoba and parts of Ontario and Nunavut are on Central Standard Time Nov-Mar and Central Daylight Saving Time Mar-Nov.
  6. The island of Southampton stays on Eastern Standard Time all year.
  7. Most of Quebec and Ontario and part of Nunavut are on Eastern Standard Time Nov-Mar and Eastern Daylight Saving Time Mar-Nov.
  8. Part of Quebec stays on Atlantic Standard Time all year.
  9. New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Labrador are on Atlantic Standard Time Nov-Mar and Atlantic Daylight Saving Time Mar-Nov.
  10. Newfoundland is on Newfoundland Standard Time Nov-Mar and Newfoundland Daylight Saving Time Mar-Nov.
