Other things which happens at Fausching: Monday is allways the day for big procession. Tuesday the women can cut the ties of the man ( they better wear an old one at this day or none at all ) and on Wednesday ( that´s the last day of Fausching ) it´s the day where the carneval groups start crying and washing their purses ( the crying represents the grief that this season is over now... washing the purses means it did cost a lot of money for those carneval groups and now the purse is empty ). The day after fasching the lenten season starts.
