Gorgoroth was created in 1992.

Gorgoroth. Only through guitarist and founder Infernus though. Marilyn Manson is not a Satanist, and is simply a shock rocker. Former Gorgoroth members Gaahl and King ov Hell similarly worked for shock value.

Gaahl's tenure in Gorgoroth officially ended in 2007 when he assisted bassist King ov Hell in attempting to fire founding member Infernus. This began the Gorgoroth name dispute. This dispute was concluded in March 2009 when a court ruling decided Inferus was the rightful user of the band name, and it was ruled that Gaahl and King had excluded themselves upon attempting to remove Infernus in October 2007. Gaahl retired from metal music in July 2009. Despite having claimed to be working on lyrics both during and after the name dispute for an album that was supposed to be released under the name God Seed but was ultimately released under Ov Hell, he lacked enthusiasm and so decided to retire. Satanic, by Anton LaVey's definition, is the opposite of spiritual and deity religions; therefore, if Gwar's lyrics are expressing opposition of those things (or mainstream things); then yes.
Usually only ones in blackmetal bands, like that guy Gaahl from Gorgoroth. Black Sabbath's members are thought to be satanic as well but there a huge amount of actual 'real' rockstars that are. They make the best music to!
Here are some, but that's all up to the listener and quality, musicianship, etc- Immortal(early), Gorgoroth(early), Mayhem(early), Burzum, Darkthrone(early), Ildjarn, Emperor(early), Dissection, Bathory...
Anything by the band Gorgoroth, or any black metal band. Most Black metal/ Death metal bands come from Europe and usually have lyrics in Norwegian that commonly refer to Satan and demons, but do not use swear words.
No Gorgoroth is not a christian band, they are Devil worshipers if i could talk to them right now i would tell them "guys there is absolutely no reason to worship Satan cause when you die you'll got to hell and all he is going to do there is torture you, just because you sing music to show you worship him all he is saying is more people worship me fools more people to torture, if they turned to Jesus Christ and God right away and gave up Satan there is a high chance will go to heaven and be loved by Jesus and God so what do you want, to be tortured by Satan or to be loved and cared for by Jesus and God" that's what i would say.
Satyricon lyrics are not that dark compared to lyrics of bands like gorgoroth. Plus the band categorizes itself as black metal which is by definition satanic. The vocalist satyr also wears an inverted cross on his neck symbolizing satanism. But not many of they're songs can be offensive.
