There really isn't one. "Favorites" can refer to two different things:

  • Stored URLs in a web browser. These are usually referred to as "bookmarks" in other Web Browsers. This feature has nothing to do with Linux specifically; the same browsers use the same terminology on all operating systems.
  • A history of accessed files. Not all desktop environments provide such functionality. The "Recently Used" tab in the application launcher in KDE is roughly equivalent.
