For this particular code, you must also check for the presence of other codes (very important), and, spark quality, fuel pressure-including leak down test, inj pulse, compression test, timing chain slack test. Compression @140 is good, no cylinder below 110. fuel pressure @60KOEO @50-55 KOER less than 15 degrees lack in chain.
Since this code can also be generated by extended cranking time, and no other codes present- It lends itself to a variety of other conditions that are within operating ranges according to O2 sensors but are gradually failing.
Try clearing code and seeing if will reset right away, and how hard is vehicle to start when hot, or when cold. What is the ECT & IAT when engine is cold.
Or other non-coded conditions when is observed to be running RICH, such as, just needs a full tuneup. Or problem with GM CFI bad injection unit, or fuel pressure regulator leaking. When running compression test (plugs out-duh) disable ignition spark. Now as an assistant cranks engine, observe gas vapor or stream coming from any cylinders. This could pin point cause of "rich condition" possible bad injection uint-of course based on pertint pin point test from here.
GM injection unit is often difficult to diagnose, even by an experienced tech (96-99vortech-cfi). Given that these vehicles are also prone to failed fuel pumps (no code given). Intake manifold problems, and MAF sensors subject to contamination (again no code). You really need to take your time and not be rushed to get the diagnosis right the 1st time without wasting money on parts you don't need.
A good technician will charge a flate rate initial diagnostic fee-including the basic checks listed above. As you can see their would often be Secondary checks required upon code or condition. The charge here will be an hourly rate that would not normally exceed 2-3hours MAX. These charges typically range from 1-2 hours, three would be Max unless your vehicle is warn, and has multiple problems. Or is a 'classic/rare/collector car'.

That code is vehicle specific. A Chevrolet and a Ford could both have that same code and have them mean completely different things. So without knowing the exact year, make, or model of vehicle I cannot tell you the exact problem. For a Ford vehicle code P1351 is; Ignition Diagnostic Monitor circuit Input fault. For a Chevrolet vehicle code P1351 is; Ignition Coil Control Circuit High Voltage.

P1351 keeps coming out I have replace the crank sensor ,fuel pump,cam pickup,ignition module,ignition coil. It works about an hour when I shut the truck down for about 10 minutes it will not engage unless. I clear the code,what can it be?

I have a 1997 f-350, having the same code. replaced ignition module, and distributor. apparently there is some kind of pickup in the distributor - instead of taking the dist apart, opted to replace the whole thing. i was having a different code at first - cant remember what it was but the truck was dying on the road intermittenetly, after replacing the two items above the old code dissappeared and the new p1351 started showing with the check engine light on. but at least the truck doesnt die anymore, it would die and i would have to wait for about fifteen minutes before it would restart - i have some people looking into it and will re post once i get an answer - hopefully on monday My mechanic did some research and he and a guy from the Ford Dealer say to replace the ignition modulr - which was purchased new from Auto Zone, with a genuine Ford module, that it would correct the check engine light and code, the module is $180.00 so i will have to wait till payday, it seems like its acting like a Microsoft product use only genuine parts, i find it hard to believe but I'll try it and post results here in a week or so

I have just about replaced everything.....nothing works to date. 1 Fuel pump, 2 Ignition control Modules, 1Cam shaft sensor, 1Fuel relay switch, 1distributor Spark plugs, Spark Plug wires....
