Last time I had to replace them, I paid $119/each for four (4) 1000 amp cold crank batteries.
13.6 - 14.6 volts.
Truck Battery versus Car BatteryThere is no difference in a truck battery or a car battery unless you are talking about a semi. As long as the battery fits, it the same voltage, and has sufficient CCA (cold cranking amps) it will work in a truck or car.
Disconnect ground. Disconnect positive. Attached chain to back of Semi-Truck, attach chain to battery. Drive the truck away.
Who invented the Semi-truck?
If the semi truck knocked on the garbage truck, yes.
As the purpose of a semi truck's existence is to go cross country, the best semi-truck for a cross country trip would be the semi that suits your needs. The purchase decision would have to be based on several factors. These would include what is to be hauled, price and ease of maintainance and operation.
Usually three or four of them... typically, 500 - 1000 Cold Cranking Amps... lower the CCA, the more longevity the battery typically has.
A vehicle with 18 wheels is commonly known as a "semi-truck" or "tractor-trailer."
Semi-articulated
There is no prefix in truck.
Depends on what year it's from. On an older truck, hook the positive to a positive battery post, hook the ground to a bolt which goes through the chassis. On a newer truck, which is apt to having chassis-mounted electronics, put the ground to the negative battery terminal.
Tom Nelson invented the semi truck in 1945
