ProActiv is an acne clearing system. Its not cheap but they give you your money back if it doesn't work for you. And ... it didn't work for me. My skin never felt clean (the cleansers are more like lotions) and I had no change in my (moderate, not severe) acne. I have a few friends who liked the product but didn't see amazing enough results to re-order it. I guess it depends on the severity of a person's acne and of course the results they get from this product.
What DID help my skin was switching face washes. Start buying baby wash (even a generic or store brand will be fine). You will be amazed at how much better your skin looks and feels as compared to washing your face with expensive or harsh soaps.

It not only irritates your skin but if you stop using it as the description says you should then you will break out even worse then before. A way to help calm your skin and acne is you can buy an aloe vera plant and grow that. The juice from the aloe plant releases the anti oxidants in your skin and will calm down redness. That is why they create aloe cream for burns :)
Some people can not help getting rid of acne and have to go into a dermatologist to discuss the situation.
Lots of greens and red meats help because it is healthy and not only is good for building a tone body.
