Special Operations Chief (Chief Petty Officer, E7, SEAL)
My son is a SOCS (Senior Chief Petty Officer, E8, SEAL)
Nave SEAL's are ranked from officers (any rank) down to Petty Officer 3rd Class.
Seal Operator 2nd Class.
Depends on their rank, because each rank is paid differently. Most Navy Seals are in the rank range of E2-E6 so maybe $21-25,000 and team leaders probably $30,000.
SO is the rate designation for Special Operator; the 1 is the rank designation for a Navy First Class Petty Officer. An SO1 is a Special Operator First Class.
It depends on your rate/rank, but yes, the Navy does issue knives, be it seamanship/utility knives or combat knives (SEAL's, SeaBee's).
All Navy personnel are paid based on their rank and their time in service. The standard military pay chart applies. There are instances where they will get hazard pay, for instance, staying parachute qualified.
Military pay is determined by rank, time in grade, MOS, and years served.
Some people think that a Navy Seal Sniper is safer than Navy Seal Infantry. Some people think that Navy Seal Infantry is safer than a Navy Seal Sniper.
base pay is from 50000-60000, but that tends to go up very easily when you're on active duty.
Navy SEAL. If you can take it.
SEAL.
They are all provided but you have to be in the Navy and apply and are only excepted if you are exceptional in your cutting score based on awards, physical tests, etc. i believe there are rank requirements as well.
