ShantiKuteer sampraday is founded by His Holiness Shri Samartha Sadguru Ganapatrao Maharaj Kannur. S S Ganapatrao Maharaj a renowned Indian saint and a preacher of Non dualism - Advaita principle founded this sampraday, the origin of it is at an ashram Known as Shantikuteer Ashram situated near village Kannur in the Bijapur district of Karnataka India. It is a picturesque holy place - Teertha Khsetra where S S Ganpatrao Maharaj spent all his life in practicing and preaching the Advaita Philosophy.

His preachings were simple - He through out his life propagated "Live happily and love all" . The principle being that every individual seeks solace and whatever we indulge into is to gain satisfaction and happiness. For this all humans try different materialistic ventures and try to find momentary happiness. The real fact being we are blissed to be always happy and satisfied as happiness rests within and it has to be realized. Our soul is self content and satisfied, Soul (Atma) is universally one and it resides in every individual. If one is able to inculcate this principle in life, one will be always contented and satisfied. An individual who is able to accept the universal belongingness will never hate anything and as we love ourselves the most and as Our soul is common and is shared throughout the universe we belong to the universe and universe belongs to us.

Happiness and Love go hand in hand as if you love everyone around you and are able to see them as your soul bearers then hate would never arise and you will love all.

As described by His Holiness Shri Samartha Sadguru Ganapatrao Maharaj Kannur the meaning of Moksha is Mukti - which is to get liberated - liberated from what? Getting Liberated from the pains, sufferings and dissatisfaction and gaining the Eternal happiness.
