~WARNING...SPOILERS~
Over the course of 9 books (starting with the aptly-titled "Betrayal" and ending with "Invincible"), Legacy of the Force tells the story of Han and Leia Solos' son, Jacen, turning to the Dark Side and becoming a new Darth Vader.
Though it features many interesting concepts, (such as how much more powerful would Darth Vader have been if he hadn't been cyborgicized) hands down the most shocking developments are the deaths of two major Star Wars Expanded Universe characters.
It is not a flawless series, of course. Yet another galactic war (the fourth in less than a century) unfolds, but almost always only in the background. Even when we see the events of the war, it's only peripherally. Call it better or worse than the series' previous focus on the centers of intergalactic power (I'd say worse), it's definitely a more detached view of the backdrop.
Definitely. The star wars universe is almost infinite. I think there are books about Cade Skywalker (the son of Kol, the son of ben, the son of luke) so yep there are books after legacy of the force.
Definitely Star Wars Legacy
