There are 2 main sports one is soccer which the kids in Switzerland begin to play at the age of 6..and another is ice hockey 10 of their teams are in championship this year.

Those are both played in Switzerland, but the traditional sport is Hornussen. It's like a mixture of Baseball and Golf and it's becoming extinct. You almost never see people play that.
Hockey is pretty uncommon considering that Switzerland's teams are not bad internationally. Soccer is the only really common, the only one that has a cultural status such as football or baseball in the US.
