Taiwan is a multiparty democracy. The government is divided into five administrative branches or Yuan. They are the the Executive Yuan or the cabinet, the Legislative Yuan, the Judicial Yuan, the Control Yuan (audit agency), and the Examination Yuan that is also known as the civil service examination agency.
