Ecosystem
Organisms use energy to divide, grow, remove wastes and to make protein. The organisms are able to do this by the process of the Krebs Cycle.
Most producers are plants. These organisms get their energy from the sun. They use this energy that they can store in their system to process the food that they make for themselves.
Respiration.
To make energy for their bodys, and to STAY ALIVE!!!
The sum of potential and kinetic energy gives you the Mechanical Energy of the system
Energy is stored in the cells. The cells travel around the organism (or a living system) and give off, or produce, energy.
binomial nomenclature

Organisms that consume other organisms for energy are consumers.
Larger organisms are required to consume and give off lots energy to survive. But, smaller organisms do not consume and release as much energy than larger ones. This energy, when given off, is represented by heat. Therefore, larger organisms produce more heat than smaller organisms, and this extra heat is required in cold climates.

Organisms that eat other organisms for energy are hetreotrophs.
Organisms that photosythesize get their energy from the sun
Organisms get energy by eating autotrophs.
