It is a form of computer software where most limitations are 32 bits long, thus making the most RAM you can have to be around 4 GB. Most CPUs these days can handle 64 bit OSs (operating systems), such as Windows Vista 64 bit edition, Windows 7 64 bit Edition, etc.
If you have a 32bit or 64 bit computer, you have to get the right itunes, or it wont work right.

You can use either a 32bit or 64bit operating system (OS) for 4GB of RAM. 4GB of memory is the limit a 32bit OS can handle, this includes any memory that your graphics card has, so your computer may recognise only 3.5GB of RAM if you have a 512MB GPU. You will need a 64bit os that will use all of the ram.
you dont, get a new computer
Yes, in "My Computer" open the cd drive, and right click on setup.exe, choose 'run as administrator'. It works on both 32bit and 64bit windows 7 pro.

The difference between 32bit windows and 64bit windows is the resolution of the image and the higher the bit the better the image.
To find this, you take 2^32 = 4294967296 bits = ~4.3GB max. In reality, a Windows 32bit OS only addresses something like 3.5GB.
