These older stevens guns are valued at between 65-150 dollars.
what exactly is the question any other information on the rifle?
There is no Model 1794, but many of the Stevens Favorites are marked with the patent date Apr 17 '94. The value can range from less than $100 for one of the more commonly found models in Poor condition to over $1000 for a scarcer model in Excellent condition.
1794/5 $10,000,000
Ammo in .25 rimfire has not been available for many decades.so the answer is no.
William J. Worth was born on 1794-03-01.
The "April 1794" refers to April 17, 1894. Stevens didn't exist until the late 1800s. The gun you mention is probably a Stevens Favorite. All Favorites made between 1894 and 1915 carry that "April 17'94" designation. Price depends heavily on condition. The Favorite is quite popular with "boy's rifle" collectors. Ones in poor to fair condition can be found for less than $100. Ones in excellent condition carry prices of as much as $500. Most in average condition sell on-line in the $125 to $225 range. Ones in equal condition are often a bit higher at gun shows.
1794 silver dollar sold for $10 million
I wish I knew the answer to this as well as I have the same gun. The only thing I can offer is that it should be noted that it has an octagonal barrel and a falling block/breech, and most importantly the patent date is April 17, 1894 NOT April 1794. J Stevens A & T was only in business between about 1886 and 1914 approx. this is wreckmaster96739, i have in my possesion a j Stevens a and t co. u s patent apr. 1794,it's a 22 long rifle ser. # 40279. it was my grandfather's grandfarther's gun. I'm courious what the value is.
