Enlarging the cylinder bore will increase cc's in a 2 stroke and ci's ina 4 stroke.....
3.68 bore x 3.126 stroke
Year Eng Ci Engine Liters Cylinder Bore Piston stroke # of Cylinders Cast Number1976 250 4.1 3.875 3.534 6 473483
rule of thumb here anything under 400 ci adds 5 cubic inch per .03 over bore. at 400 and over cubic inch, every .03 overbore adds 6 cubic inch. heres a formula bore X bore X stroke X number of cylinders x .7854 = cubic inch 427 chevy 4.25 bore 3.76 stroke =426.72 CI
Bore the block .040" oversize and put in a 4" stroke crank.
The bore & stroke of each cylinder. bore X bore X 0.7854 X stroke X numbers of cylinders = example 4.001 X 4.001 X 0.7854 X 3.480 X 8 = 350 cubic inches.
Year Eng Ci Engine Liters Cylinder Bore Piston stroke # of Cylinders Cast Number1976 250 4.1 3.875 3.534 6 473483
Normal Bore is 4.0, Stroke is 3.98. 30 over bore is 4.030. Radius of new bore is 2.015 Volume of 1 Cylinder is ((2.015*2.015)*3.14)*3.98 or 50.74 per Cylinder 6 Cylinders so new displacement is 304.45 CI
Not that I have ever heard of in stock form.
The CI stands for compression-ignition engine also known as a diesel engine. The CI engine is classified as an internal combustion engine.
No, you silly goose, the 2.3 liter 140 CI ford engine has a bore diameter of 3.78" and the Chevy 350 has a bore diameter of 4.0 inches... :)
for SI engine 2 cams will be provided......,for CI engine 3 cams PROVIDED for opening of inlet, exhaust valves and operating of fuel injector...ok got it
