well the Maltese is just like any other dog it can be allergic to the same things were allergic to. But the Maltese is commonly allergic to...A certain brand of dog food, contact (as in a certain meterial), Fleas, Bacteria (all dogs have a sort of bacteria but the Maltese can be allergic to it), and inhalents (as in air freshener or smoke).
well we have a Maltese x who does that due to something he his allergic to. Maltese dogs are really sensitive ot their surroundings so check there isn't something irritating him/her.
Dunno.. Never knew they did. Maybe your dog likes you?
No, these people are allergic to hypoallergenic dogs as much as they are to any other dogs. These dogs are only referred to as hypoallergenic because they hardly moult at all, and are hence less likely to trigger an allergic reaction.
Depending on the breeds of the mix, yes they can cause allergies. It also depends on what you are allergic to (either dander or saliva). In the case you are allergic to dander, you should try to get a hypoalergenic dog (mix or full). Before bringing a dog into a home of someone who has allergies, you should be sure that you don't have any reaction to the dog. Some hypoalergenic dogs/mixes are: poodle yorkshire terrier maltese soft coated wheaten terrier maltipoo (maltese/poodle) morkie (maltese/yorkshire terrier) havanese havapoo (havanese/poodle)
