What is a Yamaha banshee?

The Yamaha Banshee is one of the most famous ATV's ever built. Throughout it's 20 year run, the Banshee didn't change much ... and with the exception of a weak suspension, it didn't need to! Equipped with a 2-stroke twin cylinder motor, dual carburators, and a dual exhaust system, this was one of the fastest ATV's off the line ever...right off the showroom floor; and with a little tinkering in the right spots, the fastest quad... period. Most would say the Banshee is a dune machine. I disagree! My Banshee screams through the wooded trails, glides over mud, shoots up hills like a slug from a .45, and fly's through the air like it has wings. It's all in how you set it up for your particular style or form of riding. I race...but I'm not a pro-racer, I freestyle...but I'm not a pro-freestyler, I wrench...but I'm not a pro-mechanic... I am proud of my machine...and I don't need to be paid to say it... but it wouldn't hurt!! lol! The Birdman-proud owner of a 1996 Yamaha Banshee, One Baaaaaad-Ass Machine!! Thanks Yamaha!
