I use two web browsers: Mozilla Firefox & Google Chrome. I usually use google chrome, as it is much faster to start up and when browsing is much more responsive. I prefer Google chrome for its speed, but still use Mozilla Firefox for its customizability and better ad-blocking when using Adblock Plu…s add-on. (Google Chrome has an Adblock Plus extension also, but it is still in Beta stage of development and sometimes misses a few ads.) I would recommend both browsers. ( Full Answer )

RAM if you upgrade from 512mb to 1024 will your browser windows and programs open smoother and faster If RAM does not effect those then what can you do to boost the ease and speed of the 1st question?
Answer . Generally any time one adds memory to a PC the system will appear to ruin faster and "smoother". This is because a larger memory space allows the system to swap data less with a hard drive when the system runs short of memory in operation.

It simply browses the web... which is obvious but really it shows the content of the internet (The thing is that you are probably using a web browser now to see this)
Private Sub Command1_Click(). WebBrowser1.Navigate (Text1.Text). End Sub. Private Sub Command2_Click(). WebBrowser1.GoBack. End Sub. Private Sub Command3_Click(). WebBrowser1.GoForward. End Sub. I am guessing that the BHO is written in C++. The IE API is a COM-rich ATL API, and few languages are better suited to the job than C++ (although many claim support for this).
Nobody has exactly definied what an Operating System is. If it is the kernel only, then the answer is no. If it is the kernel, the common libraries, the GUI and the applications together, then the answer is yes.
you go to your homepage and it shuld be at the top of your toolbar
Plugins, in general, extend the functions of your computer'sbrowser. Flash, Quicktime, JAVA and Acrobat Reader are all plugins.
Opera, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer and any program that allows you to browse trough web pages.
Programs that extend the capability of a browser are called add-ons . The most common type of add-on is a toolbar , though they are starting to fall out of use among veteran computer users because of the negative effects they have on CPU usage and visible ("viewport") area in the browser.
What programming language should a software that will run in users' web browsers when they access your company's website be written in?
There are a few popular webcentric programming languages out there. PHP, ASP, and JSP are three very prominent examples. However, when generating content, all of these will generate HTML on the users' end, and thus, a knowledge of HTML (and usually CSS) will be required to make dynamic content fo…r a website. Browsers like goats and deer and even sheep eat twigs and leaves from trees and shrubs, as well as other forbes that other grazers would avoid. They are also capable of grazing, but prefer tasty buds at nose-level than bending their heads down to eat.
Are Browsers email programs and word processors applications that you need to close when ask to close all applications?
Yes, browsers, email programs and word processors are applications. If a piece of software (usually in install or uninstall program) asks you to close all applications, then you must close all of them including your browsers, your email, and your word processor. If it's not part of the operating sys…tem, then you need to close it. The software requesting the closure probably needs to update something within the applications on in their .ini files. yes, because not everyone know how to install web browsers and other related software in their computer..
Mosaic is the web browser credited with popularizing the World Wide Web. It was also a client for earlier protocols such as FTP, NNTP, and gopher. Its clean, easily understood user interface, reliability, Windows port and simple installation all contributed to making it the application that opened u…p the Web to the general public. Mosaic was also the first browser to display images inline with text instead of displaying images in a separate window. While often described as the first graphical web browser, Mosaic was preceded by the lesser-known Erwise and ViolaWWW. Mosaic was developed at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA) at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign beginning in late 1992. NCSA released the browser in 1993, and officially discontinued development and support on January 7, 1997. However, it can still be downloaded from NCSA. Fifteen years after Mosaic's introduction, the most popular contemporary browsers, Internet Explorer , Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome retain many of the characteristics of the original Mosaic graphical user interface (GUI) and interactive experience. By default, if you didnt have a webbrowser how would you browse to find a new one?
The main browser is quite vague. I would assume the main browser would mean the browser you use mainly, in other words the browser you use most of the time. This does not have to be the default browser. The default browser on my machine is Internet Explorer, but I mainly use Sleipnir 3 for Windows… because it doesn't crash like IE and the tabs are much better. ( Full Answer )
The first web browser in the history of the world was WorldWideWeb, and it was created by Nexus on February 26th, 1991. During that time, very few of the world's people were using the Internet; only 4,000,000 of them. WorldWideWeb was a turning point for computer history, and now, there are hundreds… of web browsers out there, besides the five most common ones: Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari, and Opera. WorldWideWeb was VERY basic compared to modern day browsers. ( Full Answer )
Generally if you open a browser it should ask you whether you want to make it your default web browser. I have Internet Explorer, Chrome and Sleipnir installed on my computer. I use Chrome for memory intensive tasks and I use Sleipnir because it has very easy to use tabs. Every time I switch bet…ween browsers, unless I uncheck the dialog box, the box asking if I want to save as my default browser always automatically appears when opening a browser that is currently not my default browser. Otherwise, I am sure you can change it in the options area of your desired web browser. ( Full Answer )
Internet Explorer is the default Web Browser for Windows. It isavailable as the default browser is most of the Windows versions.
Is it true that if you switch your Firefox web browser to French then it will mess up or ruin your Windows 7 computer because this computer is programmed for the US only?
No. Firefox would operate in French and the system would remain English (the system would be unchanged). Even if you change the SYSTEM language to French, and then somehow removed the English language pack entirely it still couldn't ruin or mess up your computer. You could change your entir…e system language & completely remove the last or original language without ruining, messing up, or even changing the functionality of the system 1 little bit. I would stake my life on it. ( Full Answer )
Internet Explorer because it is the default web browser with Microsoft devices. Chrome because it rarely crashed. Sleipnir because the tabs are very easy to use.
The answer to this can vary wildly. Most people tend to lean towards Mozilla Firefox for tabbing and fast surfing, while others tend to use the more well known Internet Explorer, and a few more like Chrome.
Most browsers have extensions, plugins, etc. Here is a nice list for Chrome: chrome.google.com/webstore/category/extensions Although they are made specifically for each browser, the most common needs & popular utilities can be found for all browsers.
What is the main function of browser options a compile html b interpret htm c decompile html d interpret cgi program?

I have Windows 7 OS. I uninstalled Java when the advisory was issued but that was the last I've heard -- What effect does that have on browsers and other programs and am I just as well off without it?
You may not run Java programs like online banks, games etc. (new technology might be clsoe to take over in near future HTML5)
I have windows xp and I use Google Chrome as my browser but theres a program called DefaultTab that I cant get rid of and every time I open the Add Remove programs list it doesn't appear?
It is probably a Google Chrome extension, go to Chrome Settings, Extensions, then find DefaultTab and uninstall it.
Google and Bing are two of the fastest Internet browsers. The speed of the browser, however, really depends on the speed of the computer's processor and the type of network connection.
Yes, there are certain viruses that get installed in your computeras extensions and start downloading random programs.
Computers require instructions (which programs and softwarebasically are) from somewhere. Usually the location of mostconvenience is in local storage, which is the closest. In order for a program to be Web-based, it has to be hosted on aserver somewhere else. The idea of having a Web browser hosted…somewhere would make the purpose redundant (as in defeating thepurpose since you'd have to get on the Internet to browse theInternet). ( Full Answer )
The page that appears in your browser window as soon as you launch the program is called the homepage.
You are browsing the internet and realize your browser is not responding how can you immediately exit the program without rebooting the computer?
Holding down the CTRL ALT & DEL keys together will stop allprocesses on the computer - and allow you to start the taskmanager. Once started - it's simply a matter of locating yourbrowser on the list - and 'end' the process. All other programsrunning will be unaffected.
What if you're browsing the internet and you realize your browser is not responding what will immediately exit the program without rebooting your computer?
On MacOS a Force Quit will immediately exit any selectedprogram that is not responding. I don't use Windows enough to know how to do this there.
