What is a carpal look like?
a carpal is a small bone in the wrist. there are several that move about at the joint. they are small stone-like bones about the size of a hazelnut or marble.
The median nerve (which is a tissue I suppose) passes through your wrist and causes compression on the nerve. There is also a transverse carpal tunnel ligament that is a thick rubber like tissue that closes off the top of the carpal tunnel. Easier to understand if you see a picture of carpal tunnel anatomy.
