nothing most of them are under the hood
None, as long as the air intake pipes leading up to filter aren't restricted by foreign material. It was designed to be that way.
Installing the air filter under the hood instead of the outside would give less air flow and hot air from the engine, which would raise combustion temperatures and reduce power.
The concern is that air will be more restricted and hotter than if it was mounted on the outside of the hood
It is what the carburetor or fuel injection is mounted to.Plain and simple.Or under the air cleaner assembly.
The map sensor is easy to replace. It is right under the air cleaner I believe. # Remove the air cleaner. # Take out mounting screws. # Disconnect nipple hose and cable. # Reverse directions for new map sensor.
it was rumored that a mew is under the truck
drawing hot air from under the hood really only causes harm in higher performance vehicles as most stock vehicles have an air induction system that draws air from a cooler location
This truck uses three different engines, all with slightly different starter mounting. All starter replacements are pretty similar though. Most importantly you must first disconnect the negative battery cable. Raise and support the vehicle. From under the vehicle remove the large and small power wires to the starter. Remove the starter mounting bolts Remove the starter. Reverse procedure for installation.
Possibly a worn engine and/or gearbox mounting or exhaust mounting
