Piccolo flute, C flute (^^), alto flute, bass flute, and contra-bass flute!
The flute (and piccolo, alto flue, bass flute, contra bass flute) is the only instrument held to the side when played.
Soprano saxophone(It doesn't even look like a saxophone) Contra-bass flute(it sounds like a tuba and it is HUGE) Bass flute Bass oboe contra-bass clarinet(it is even lower than a contra-bass flute!) Eb clarinet(it's so tiny) These are some of the weirdest woodwinds.
Like, usually $14,000. I found one for $13,829.
Garklein,sopranino,descant,treble/alto,tenor,bass,great bass,contra bass,sub contra bass.
Flutes and Piccolos don't use reeds. Also for E.C., an oboe doesn't use a reed either. :)
There are twelve members of the western flute family, smallest first. Piccolo, treble flute, Soprano, Concert, Flute d'amour, Alto, Bass. Contra alto, Contrabass, Subcontrabass, Double contrabass and Hyperbass flutes
Tuba, sousaphone, and things with "bass" or "contra" in the name: bass, Bass Clarinet, contrabass Clarinet, contrabassoon, etc. "Bass" means it plays the bass line, and "contra" means it's so big it has to double back on itself.
Do you mean Bassoon. Yes it's also called the fagotti. The lowest of the woodwind quartet. Oboe, Flute, Clarinet and Bassoon. Unlike other instruments that have a bass version ie, Bass Clarinet, Bass Trombone, Bass Guitar etc the bassoon's bass is called a Contra Bassoon. This implies to me that there must be an instrument called the 'Oon' to have a Bass Oon But I've never been able to find references to an Oon. To add to this answer.... You are partially correct... - there is a Bass Oon. It is a part of the "Oon" family. Including the Sapranoon, Altoon, Tenor Oon, Bass Oon, and the Contra Bass Oon.
The cast of Bass in Contra - 2005 includes: Theresa Greim as Lena Stephan Lenze as Valentin
piccolo, bass flute, treble flute
No, the double bass is the largest and lowest.
