Do you mean Bassoon. Yes it's also called the fagotti. The lowest of the woodwind quartet. Oboe, Flute, Clarinet and Bassoon. Unlike other instruments that have a bass version ie, Bass Clarinet, Bass Trombone, Bass Guitar etc the bassoon's bass is called a Contra Bassoon. This implies to me that there must be an instrument called the 'Oon' to have a Bass Oon But I've never been able to find references to an Oon.
