A control is something which you keep constant in an experiment. If for instance you were testing the effect of different liquids on the growth of plants, you would have a number of controls (like the type of plant and the amount of sunlight used).
A control is an experiment, often excluding the independent variable (or in some cases it is kept at a constant) that is designed to show that the independent variable is the only variable affecting the results or that the independent variable is responsible for those changes. (there may be more to add here, this is just off the top of my head)
When conducting experiments in science, it is important to have a baseline for knowing what happens if an independent variable is not present. In science, this is called the control experiment.
A control in a science fair project would usually be a separate running of the experiment where you don't change anything. Example: If you are testing the effect that music has on plant growth, you would grow a plant with no music.
Control group
i just finished this chapter in science...im pretty sure that it is the ribosomes
The control is what you keep the same through the whole experiment. I'm doing an experiment for a science fair this yer and its: What things can remove permanent marker from fabric. my control would be, the amount of "stuff" i use and the type or marker. hope it helps ♥
it's better to have a control but no you do not have to have a control in a science fair project
A control group is the unaffected group in a science experiment.
corrosion science and control means the act of scientist prevent corrosion and find the way to control it
no the control does nothing
Control in a science experiment means it stays the same and you don't do anything to it.

A control in science is in an experiment that makes sure the science experiment only tests one variable. A constant is in an experiment and that is a variable that never changes.
Yes, any science experiment needs a control, or else you don't have a baseline from which to base your understanding of the rest of your data.
a control is anything that stays the same during the experiment
control means to take conrol in a science experiment
Control in a science experiment means it stays the same and you don't do anything to it.
