When you do a data export, or create a table, move a table, move a file, ftp a file, etc., you need to specify in the command where the data will go. This is the "destination" disk. This disk will be a named object. My disks are called: $D001 $D002 So, my create table statement would include the disk specification in the statement: create table $D001.VOLUMENAME.TABLENAME field specs table attributes;

Drives D and E usually refers to CD/DVD drives. Put the source disk in drive d and the destination disk into drive 3, then copy from d to e.
Not necessarily ... downloads can be directed to your PC's hard drive as a first destination. From there, they can be uploaded to your mobile phone.
Yes. So long as you have enough space for the image file, just set the destination to the flash drive when creating the disk image.
Got a disk read error when I selected a program destination from our list. Tried a disk cleaner no luck. Checked disk for defect none found. Put disk back in same error. I clean with disk with isopropyl rubbing alcohol. DO not rub it on the disk, pat the disk with a very wet lint free towel or paper towel till the disk is wet. I let it soak for a few minutes. Very careful pat it with another paper towel till dry. I let it sit for 1 hour to insure it was dry. I put it back in trouble and error message gone been a month. Hope this help.

When prompted to format the floppy disk, click NO. Especially if the disk has files that you wish to access. Formatting the disk erases EVERYTHING on the disk and starts the disk anew.
No, the word "destination" is a noun.
