You mean a "program" camera? There are three forms of automatic exposure: aperture-priority (usually marked "Av" - aperture value - on the camera's control knob), shutter priority (usually marked "Tv" - time value) and program. When you use aperture priority you set the f/stop and the camera picks the shutter speed to give the proper exposure. In shutter priority you pick the shutter speed and the camera picks the f/stop. In program mode the camera picks both.
The disadvantage of program exposure is it takes control of the image out of the hands of the photographer.
The advantage - and there is a huge one - is it lets the photographer worry about composing the picture without worrying about setting the camera. I know newspaper photographers. When they go to a fire or a crime scene, they hang the fastest lens they have on their cameras, set them to "high speed program" and go shoot. This gets them the most usable images and leaves them free to worry about more important things, like not getting run over by a fire engine.
a disadvantage is that som might not have a camera to take pics with while, others do.
Disadvantage would be always having to buy a film for the camera, it could cost a lot more money rather than using a memory card.
PLA is programmable logic array while PAL is Programmable Array Logic. PLA is a kind of programmable logic device used to implement combinational logic circuit. It has Programmable AND Gate linked with Programmable OR Gate. PAL is an combinational PLD that was developed to overcome certain disadvantage of PLA. PLA shows longer delay due to additional fusible links which results from using two programmable array and increase circuit complexity. Thus, PAL is used which is less complex and fast to implement. PAL consists of programmable AND linked with fixed OR.
One advantage of having a camera is the fact that you can capture moments. One disadvantage to having a camera is the fact that it only produces photographs, not videos.
you can preview pics on a built in display and download pics to a computer
A Honeywell 7 Day Programmable Thermostat is approximately $119.00 at home improvement stores such as Lowes or Home Depot. The advantages of a programmable thermostat far outweigh the disadvantage of the price. These even allow you to access them with your smartphone to change the temperature on demand!
