No.
its a big gun used in the civil war
I just bought a H.S. Brown Damascus double barrel in 10ga. Dated 1883 in very good condition for $400.
Values vary by condition. Low end $400 upwards of $1,700
I have an identical shotgun. Same markings, date, laminated barrel, etc. but no gold emblem. I'm also interested in the value. Mine has a cracked stock.
how old is my price double shotgun serial number 35627
Great question i have one that was made in 1883, have been wanting to find some info on it. anybody with info about this please help.
This is not a fully automatic "machine gun". This is an antique double barrel shotgun. They have little collector value. Because of their age they should be shot, if at all, with special ammo appropriate to the metallurgy of the era. Value in excellent condition is about $400.
N R Davis & Sons operated from 1883 to 1917. Value of a fully functioning double is $150-$250.
Value is too difficult to be accurate without seeing the gun. Condition which includes the amount of original finish and original configuration will determine value. Recommend taking it to a gun shop for appraisal.
Other than a matter of pure luck in finding another one to act as an "organ donor"- No. A skilled gunsmith may be able to MAKE a small part you need.
Seldom bring more than 150 or so
