A popular cultural landmark the monastery of St. Naum, located near Ohrid, close to the border with Albania. It overlooks Lake Ohrid, and is home to many peacocks that roam the monastery area. Not only is the monastery itself beautiful, but it offers terrific views of Lake Ohrid and its mountainous surroundings.
