Contents pane?Do you mean the Collection Folder? Click on View in the top menu to select Collections. Otherwise, imported media will appear in the Imported Media pane (if you haven't placed it in a collection folder).

The left pane of Windows Explorer shows the drives and folders in a layout called a tree. There is a + symbol to the left of each. Clicking on it shows all the folders stored in that drive. If there is a + beside the folder, clicking on it will show the subfolders stored in that folder. The right pane shows all files and sub-folders in the folder that you are currently viewing with Explorer. For example, if you click on "My Documents" in the left pane, all the files and folders in the "My Documents" folder will display in the right pane.
