A diode can only be biased in one direction at a time. It is either forward biased, in which case it conducts, or it is reverse biased in which case it does not, unless its reverse breakdown voltage has been reached.
Perhaps you are thinking of a half-wave rectifier, where only one diode is used to conduct on alternate half-cycles of the AC input?
zener diode :zener diode operates under reverse bias voltageideal diode :ideal diode operates under forward bias voltage
yes, diode can be used as rectifier diode to convert ac to dc
The read type diode are called impatt diode
A diode is used primarily as a Rectifier
Laser diode
zener resistance of a zener diode is the resistance of the zener diode but which is the resistance of a diode
A light Emitting Diode.... Light Resistat Diode ...
Laser diode
Diode for what?
Zener diode is heavily doped pn junction diode.
gunn diode is transfered electron device & PIN diode is semiconductor device
whether we know that p-n diode is real diode. But still in case of semeconductor we see then silics is real diode.
