What is half bird half animal?
Half-bird (If you're looking for the definition) refers to a type of creature in mythology that is a hybrid of a bird and other animal, the most common being human. There are a lot of half-bird animals in mythology (of course, none are real): Hyppogriff--half-bird, half-horse from Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Askaban Griffin--half-lion, half-eagle, Angel/Winged Genie--half-human, half-bird, or a spin-off of this, the Lilitu Demon (half-woman, half-owl) Osiris--falcon-headed Egyptian God, also there is the Egyptian Bird-Goddes, Benu. There is also a Bird-Goddess formed in the Vinca Culture of Europe that is depicted as a woman with an owl's beak Harpy--Greek mythological creature with the head of a man and body of a bird, said to steal the food from Phineas (not the one from the Disney show!) in legend Talos/Talon--another Greek mythological creature, usually depicted as a man with eagle wings (sometimes called Winged Talon) Hope that helps with whatever! Or, if your just curious, there ya go. Some interesting half-bird creatures from various cultures' mythologies. :)

Has there ever been a half cow half horse?
There have been claims of a half cow-half horse existing, but they occurred more than a hundred years ago. Many believe that the half horse and half cow is a fabled animal that has never existed, and that a horse and a cow cannot mate and produce an offspring because they are of two different species. However, it may have happened that less evolved forms of both species did in fact mate and their half cow-half horse offspring has simply gone extinct.
