Quit eating snacks like Ho Hos, twinkies, anything from Little Debbie, potato chips, & candy. Start snacking on popcorn (without butter or margerine), vegetables (without dip, unless its fat-free), drink lots of water, not soda pop and sweet drinks, including too much fruit juice. If you must drink fruit juice, water it down by at least 50%.

Your waaaay too young to worry about your weight! I was an overweight child and teenager and i spent half my life counting calories and standing in front of the mirror. Trust me, you'll regret and miss alot of your life. HOWEVER, you are too not too young to think about a healthy diet. Thinking about calories is wrong, thinking about healthy is right.

Just eat everything healthy at the age of nine and have plenty of exercise like running in the playground and limit the Wii or XBox and TV to 1 hour a day.

I think a healthy diet for a 9 year old is to try and not have crisps, chocolate in their pack lunch try and put fruit and raisins in there instead and try and do clubs and school activities and walks and runs so they can get exercise that will probably lose a couple of pounds as well and it's not really healthy for a 9 year old to lose wait but a couple of pounds wont hurt anyone.

I am sure that you shouldn't worry about your weight as you are only young, but everyone wants to sometime so mainly just cut out all the bad things and junk food you eat and try to stay healthy. I am not saying cut it all out, you should have a treat once and a while, but try not to eat too much.

The best way to lose weight the most efficient and healthy way is to properly diet and exercise.
