What is a cabinet stile?
The stile is basically the frame of the cabinet behind the door. Your cabinet is faced with rails and stiles and then the door is attached to a stile on one side or the other. In the centre of the door panel is a 400mm grey plastic moulding. In the top of this is the bit of the door panel you actually stick your hand in to pull the door shut. Pry this piece out with a flat-blade screwdriver, butterknife, etc. Behind that there are 2 screws. Remove these. Go round the whole of the interior panel and pull the plastic studs out. If you want to remove the top part of the panel, containing the interior door handle: * On the interior door handle there is a screw. Remove it. * Push the interior door handle towards the front of the car and pull out slightly. * Unclip the rod from the interior door handle. Don't just try to pull it out. * At the front centre of the top section, visible from inside the car, is a plastic fastener. At the bottom rear is another, concealed under the lower panel. Unscrew these (you may need to hold the outer part to prevent it from rotating as you unscrew the inner), then pop them out. At this point the lower panel is attached by the window winder. I couldn't figure out how to remove the window winder, but the whole panel can rotate around it, giving you access to the insides of the door. If you need access to the inside of the door: * Carefully peel back the vapour barrier on the door. The black paste is sticky and will reseal later, but try to not get too much of it on the door panel. If you need to remove the door handle: * Ensure the window is wound all the way up. * Remove two bolts securing the rear window guide rail. Now this guide can be flexed a little out of the way. * There is a silver metal part approximately 100mm tall securing the door handle and lock assembly. Optionally remove the bolt at the bottom. * At the top of this piece are two nuts, securing the door handle. The front one of these is easily removed. * The rear one is trickier, and must be accessed from the front side with a spanner (or wrench or pliers). To see what you are doing as you get tools onto this nut, there is a small access hole on the interior door panel covered by a plastic stick-on cover. Peel this cover off. * Pull the exterior door handle out. * Disconnect the rod on the exterior door handle. If you need to remove the lock: * Inside the door panel is a gold-colored retaining clip. Pull this forward to remove it. * Disconnect the rod from the lock. * Take the lock out from the outside of the door. Be sure to read out the wires going to the motor. The motor may not be bad, unless the signs are obvious like grinding. A banging in the door isn't necessarily a bad motor, just the glass coming loose from the rail or a rail arm out of the rail slide or a bolt has fallen out. Troubleshoot the problem with the panel off before you replace parts. Remove the door panel. There are screws in the arm rest. Tape the glass to keep it in the up position and in place. Disconnect the electrical input. Drill out the rivets holding the motor to the door plate. Make sure you have fasteners and a means to install them. disconnect the rail from the motor input shaft. remove the motor. Installation is opposite the removal.

There are some screws on the door panel. One in the hand rail, one behind the door handle and one on the inside of the door next to the mirror. After removing the screws the door panel will remove with some force the door panel is clipped in. Make sure not to pull too hard, you have to unclip the wireing harness that controls the windows door locks etc. After you have removed the wireing harness,s and the door panel is completely off you can then remove the front speakers by taking the srcews out. You don't need to cut the wires at all, I just got mine installed in 5 minutes with the adapter speaker plug, I got them from Amazon for 16 bucks but you save a lot of time and you don't mess the wire system of your car with the black tape and stuff.
