None of the upgrades you mentioned have anything to do with the oil pressure. The only thing that really affects oil pressure is the pump and the clearance of the main and rod bearings. Cam bearings can also if worn badly. For the most part, you want at least 10 psi for each 1000 rpm. It should idle with around 10-15 at the least.
== == It came with 245hp from the factory, but you can improve it with headers and a good intake, ignition upgrades.
if you have EFI engine, replace your stock intake, headers, exhaust. installing racing filters improves air intake which can add power to your engine. replacing your stock headers and exhaust pipes with custom headers and mufflers can eliminate back pressure. doing this upgrade can give you additional 10 - 20 HP.
350 chevy with aluminum heads and intake carb and headers weigh
exchaust,headers,and a fast intake
IT IS LOCATED IN THE REAR OF THE INTAKE... YOU HAVE TO REMOVE THE INTAKE TO CHANGE IT....
Better air intake, better exhaust, install headers, change out your fuel injectors, add a bolt-on turbocharger, have the ECM reprogrammed.
intake manifold and headers or replace with 350
Octane of fuel, intake upgrades, exhaust upgrades, tire pressure and tire type, ecu upgrades, weather (wind, heat, cold, wind, rain), driving style (learn how to correctly navigate a vehicle and you will maximize its potential, even in just stopping and going), maintenance kept up correctly, better liquids (tranny fluid, oil, etc), tune up (SPARK PLUGS, wires, hoses, idle, timing), etc.
Sanderson block hugger headers. Not cheap but good quality part. 99% percent chance will work fine. I have a 1970, 429 with a Volare front suspension and these headers were the only ones other than the stock manifolds that would work. Stick with an edelbrock dual plane and vacuum secondary carb for best street performance. Hope this helps.
The intake valves are bigger, and lead to the carburetor. the exhaust valves are smaller and lead to the manifolds or headers.
I have the same exact car and what I did is install an aftermarket exhaust with headers, also a short ram intake such as a secret weapon r intake. You could also try making it lighter I.E racing seats, take out spare tire. Also I use royal purple engine oil and definitely feel a difference.
Depends on a few things such as if you are using aluminum heads & intake and headers, or the factory iron parts. If it is all factory, with the exhaust manifolds on it about 620-640 lbs. Substituting aluminum heads, intake, and headers saves about 75-80lbs.
