Minimum of 10 psi at idle. 30 is average.
no more than 80 at 3000 rpm.
Minimum spec at a warm idle is about 12psi. Normal is about 30 at idle. Should go 40-60 at 3000 rpm.
Your cam bearings or crank bearings are worn to the point where your oil is no longer going to pump through the journals to the top of the engine . You need new bearings. The engine needs to be over halled.
Normal engine compression would be 100-125psi
The 1991 Jeep Cherokee voltage regulation is done by the PCM ( Power Train Control Module) located on the drivers side inner fender behind the air cleaner box. if the voltage seems to be low when the lights and A/C are on and normal when everything is off, you might have a bad PCM OR the grounds on the jeep need to be cleaned. the grounds are VERY important to the charging system in this year cherokee. clean them up, one is located on the - terminal on the battery to the body, the other is a large bolt on the motor by the dip stick with a bunch of ground wires on it, and the other is between the motor and the firewall on the drivers side firewall...clean them and see if it helps.
On a cold engine this may be normal, but on a hot engine this is possibly a sign of a problem. Too much oil pressure can create problems. The oil pressure sending unit may be bad and reading incorrectly. You may have a stuck relief valve in the oil pump. If the pressure valve fails to open, pressure can reach dangerously high levels and may rupture the oil filter or force out oil gallery plugs. Replace the pump or valve (if separate) to cure this condition. Other causes of excessive oil pressure can include a restriction or blockage in the main oil gallery, or a combination of tight bearing clearances, partially spun bearing, high rpm operation and using an oil viscosity that
normal blood pressure reading
The normal blood pressure is usually between 120-140 mm Hg (systolic) and 80 - 90 mm Hg (diastolic). Anything higher will be considered as high blood pressure
should be 195 to 210 normal operating temp
normal blood pressure reading
The newest recommended reading is 110/70
Normal idle oil pressure would be around 30 psi. Minimum pressure should be about 10 psi.
Normal oil pressure at idle would be about 30 psi. Minimum would be about 10.
A low oil pressure reading when idling for a 1986 Fiero is normal. As long as the oil pressure goes back to normal when the car is being driven, there should be no problem. If it is not, then the oil pressure sensor or the oil sending unit should be looked at.
A full operating temperature it will be around 40 psi.
Normal will depend from person to person, but a healthy average is 120 over 80.
this means that a blood pressure reading taken previously when the patient was not ill is used as that patients normal measurement.
At 25 years of age you shouldn't be to worried about your blood pressure unless it runs in the family as health issues related to high blood pressure usually start at around 40. The normal reading for a young female is 120/80 or below but a reading as high as 130/85 is still considered within normal range. It's best to consult a Doctor regarding any health issues.
