If you put a flat blade screw driver on the left side of the vent and gently pry in and up and then do the right side. Do not pry on the bottom because the control arm is exposed and only made of plastic. If you brake the control arm the dealer will only sell you a complete vent.

First remove the windshield wipers, pry up the small tab near the vent cowl on each wiper. Then remove the screws that hold the vent cowl, pull the vent cowl off and you will see the wiper motor on the driver side
There are two tabs inside the vent, in past the louvers, one at the 3 o'clock position and one at the 9 o'clock position. Pry the tabs gently toward the center to pull the vent assembly out. Replacement is easy since the assembly just snaps into place. Removal is not easy because both tabs must be moved toward center by about 1/4 inch each and while in that position the vent is pulled straight out away from the instrument panel toward the seats. Remover the small tweeter speakers using a hard plastic pry stick at upper left and lower right corners. Remove the two Phillips head screws that hold the vent in place. Use plastic toll to insert in sides and bottom to fiind additional holding clips. Once clips are found, the vent should come right out.

First off you get a small flathead screw driver and you pry up the plate to the outside of your shifter. Then you use that same screw driver to pry out above the a/c vent holes, but don't pull to hard they will break then go below the clock and pry that piece up it should come up with the a/c vents its one piece. Then pry out the piece surrounding the stock unit. there will be screws in one of the corners so be careful to see which one it is. After that you will need to pry the ash tray on the right side with the screw driver, and then get a Philips head and unscrew the screw holding it together. Then unscrew the 4 screws that are gold around the radio then your done.
