A scrap crane is a crane (mobile or EOT -electric overhead traveling)
in a scrap yard most commonly steel scrap. The applicaton I use is
a EOT crane with a magnet. It loads steel scrap into a ladle
which goes into a electric arc furnace.
electromagnets
When the crane is moving steel or iron, usually irregular shaped material such as scrap metal.

Electromagnetic crane is used in a scrap yard please pick me as your answer
A Junkyard crane lifts up metal and other scrap substances from the heaps of junk to either put it in the crusher or to place it somewhere else.
A scrapheap crane works simply by a piece of soft iron surrounded in coper coiled coil and a electromagnet. when the switch is activated a current is sent from the battery to the electromagnet!
An electromagnet - is essentially a metal 'core' encased in wire. When power is applied to the wire, the core becomes magnetic - when the power is turned off, the magnetism is lost. Think along the lines of a crane in a scrap-yard. The crane has an electromagnet attached to its lifting arm. The operator switches on the magnet to lift a load of scrap metal, and switches it off to drop the load.
Whooping crane, Indian sarus crane and sandhill crane are crane species. Additional crane species include demoiselle crane, red-crowned crane and the common crane.
It is a magnet which moves metal around the scrap yard. Scientific explanation = It s a big round magnet which is actually an electromagnet. This allows the magnet to be turned on then off. When turned on the electromagnet attracts any magnetic substances. This is why most cars are made of something magnetic! You can move this electromagnet around because it is a crane you pick stuff up move it and then drop it by turning the electromagnet off!

There are many types of scrap metals. There are ferrous scrap metals and there are non ferrous scrap metals as well as precious metal scrap and exotic metal scrap. Each type of scrap metal sells for a different price per pound. Also depending on the grade of the scrap metal (prepared, unprepared, stripped, etc.) and your location in the world, the price of scrap metal will vary. Supply and demand also dictates the price of scrap.
