Yes, they do quite well together, I have both Comets and Shubunkin in a pond and they are very happy.
Yes! Feed it or it will die!
If you look around pet stores, they should have some Goldfish. There are Fantails and Shubunkin Goldfish. I got Shubunkin. But be careful if you put it in with Danios because I got mine yesterday and if the Danios are hungry thet might pick on the Shubunkin.
I have a 10gallon with a common and a shubunkin goldfish. They are both around 2.5 inches. I am soon upgrading to a 30 gallon so there will be enough room when they get bigger.
under perfect condition, 25 years
you need to have a gallon for every inch they are
yes, and they make a shabaloo quintin fish... a very rare spiecies
No, shubunkin fish will grow 9 to 18 inches long (23 to 41 centimetres). Koi can certainly grow 21 to 30 inches in length provided they are living in the right type of environment such as a large pond.
Trout, Common goldfish, shubunkin, comet, pike, shark, clownfish, jellyfish! There are loads!
Shubunkin is just a fancy name given to a specifically coloured Goldfish. Breeding one with a Golden coloured goldfish will result in about 33% that look like a Shubunkin and 33% that look like a Golden coloured goldfish and 33% that look like a mixture of the two. The above results would only be accurate if the breeder fish are properly line bred and their lineage is guaranteed. Otherwise you could get anything from coloured goldfish to uncoloured goldfish and a mixture of any kind of goldfish including Comets, Fantails and Veiltails.
in perfect conditions shubunkins can live 20 or more years but they usally live for 10 or more years
Goldfish use external fertilization to reproduce so pregnancy in a goldfish is impossible.
