Best Answer

A skinner rat test is a box with an electrified grid at the bottom. At one end of the cage there are 2 lights, a response lever and a little food dispenser. If the rat uses the lever for the righ light then he gets rewarded. If he gets it wrong he gets an electic shock. This experiment is used in some schools and laboratories to explore the rat's behaviour.

How did BF Skinner explain language development in terms of operant conditioning?

Skinner believed that language develops through a process of reinforcement, where children learn to speak by being reinforced for making sounds that resemble words. Caregivers provide reinforcement (such as attention or praise) when a child says a word correctly, encouraging the child to continue using language to communicate. Over time, this reinforcement shapes and strengthens the child's language skills.
