A Socialist Government is when the distribution of wealth is even, the government owns everything (i.e. businesses), etc. Some link close ties to socialism and communism although this isn't necessarily true. The US and Europe, for example, are somewhat socialist but not communist. Socialism and communism are in theory, a utopia. However, the countries that have tried to set up this form of government have failed and ended up creating chaos. If set up properly, it should be a perfect society.
Yes ,Nixon believed that the Govt had a significant role to play in having the country's wealth be fairly distributed and was a firm believer in Govt programs that benefited society as a whole like universal medical coverage paid by govt.
money doesn`t play an imp role in socialist economy. it`s passive the only function of money is medium of exchange or static one. unlike capitalist all economic activities determined by the govt. what is produce, hoe to produce all determine by the govt even prices of the product is determine by the govt. no one can change the price
these are countries where there is absence of monarchy and the govt. set up here may be secularist/socialist/capitalist may be a democratic one .....thus they are free of an authorised control.........
